Nakita Alliance is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Pannonia Bio Zrt., a leading Hungarian bioethanol producer and renewable energy company. As of December 2023, we have officially partnered with Pannonia Bio, bringing their innovative bio-based technologies and products to Vietnam and Southeast Asia at large. This strategic alliance leverages Pannonia Bio’s expertise in operating Europe’s largest single-site biorefinery in Dunaföldvár, Hungary, renowned for its state-of-the-art production processes and commitment to new bio-based technologies.
Pannonia Bio, a family business founded in 2009 and part of the Ethanol Europe group, stands at the forefront of renewable ethanol production in Central and Eastern Europe. Their operations produce fuel bioethanol and high-quality animal feed, supporting around 2000 job positions, primarily in rural areas. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Nakita Alliance as we diversify our offerings and tap into the rapidly growing bioeconomy sector, reflecting our dedication to sustainable development and innovation.
Through this partnership, Nakita Alliance is set to introduce Pannonia Bio’s array of bioproducts, including high-value GMO-free proteins, organic fertilizer, advanced biomethane, and bioethanol/alcohol, to new markets. These products not only serve as sustainable alternatives to traditional resources but also contribute significantly to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with global environmental goals.
Pannonia Bio’s commitment to investment in biorefinery advancements, despite challenging economic times, underscores the resilience and forward-thinking approach that Nakita Alliance values in a partner. Their continuous support for Hungarian agriculture and contribution to food chain resilience and energy security in Europe are aspects we aim to replicate and adapt to the needs and opportunities within Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
We are excited about the prospects this partnership brings to Nakita Alliance, Pannonia Bio, and our stakeholders in both regions. Together, we are poised to make a meaningful impact on the bioeconomy landscape, driving innovation, sustainability, and economic growth across borders.
